Time is our main commodity. Don't waste it by not doing what you truly want to do.
Maybe you're wondering who I am...
My name is Jo and I'm not here to tell you that I have life all figured out.
What I do have is experience of what it feels like to reach a point where something doesn't feel quite right.
Even when, from the outside, everything might look okay.
I know what if feels like to question yourself, to lose touch with what you really want and to wonder what comes next.
That's part of what led me towards coaching.
Before I became a coach, I spent many years supporting people through difficult and complicated situations.
That experience taught me something I'll never forget.
Sometimes people don't need someone to fix things for them. They need someone who will genuinely listen. Someone who won't judge.
Someone who can sit alongside them while they make sense of what they're feeling and work out what comes next.
That belief is the heart of how I coach today.
I chose to specialise in Personal Development because I have so much lived experience of low self-esteem, self-doubt, lack of confidence and negative self-talk. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how these patterns can affect the way we see ourselves and the choices we make.
Although I brought a career's worth of transferable skills, knowledge and experience with me, I felt it was important to gain a recognised coaching qualification to develop and strengthen my coaching skills.
I gained my Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching through The Coaching Academy, giving me a professional foundation from which to support clients on their own personal development journeys.

A little more about me...
Outside of coaching...
I'm happiest when I'm outside, noticing the changing seasons, walking somewhere beautiful or simply spending time in nature, noticing the small things. It helps me feel more 'present.'
I love creativity too - crafting, live music (well, music of all kinds really); journaling, writing poetry, garden and making things with my hands.
And I believe some of the best conversations happen when we're not trying too hard to have them.

I love seeing my clients grow in confidence, learn from past negative thought patterns or behaviours, and achieve their goals one by one.
My approach is calm, supportive and completely centred around you.
There isn't a script you have to follow.
And I won't sit there and tell you what you should do.
Instead, I'll create a calm, judgement-free space where you can slow down, explore what's going on for you and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
We'll look at what's important to you, what's getting in the way and what you want to change.
And then we'll turn that understanding into small, meaningful steps forward.
If something in you is saying "maybe it's time," let's talk.
